Industrial multiwall paper bag production process

Multiwall paper bags are important packaging materials in industrial production. The production, transportation and storage of industrial raw material products are inseparable from good quality packaging, and the packaging of plastic bags is gradually being replaced by paper sacks. This is an inevitable result of environmental protection and sustainable development. So, do you know how industrial multiwall paper bags are produced?

The production of industrial paper bags is carried out in fully automated and dust-free workshops. This is because many paper sacks are used to package food raw materials, and food-grade packaging has very strict environmental and hygienic requirements. The production process of industrial paper bags is roughly divided into the following five steps:

1.Printing

Industrial paper bags are usually flexographically printed. The patterns, text, logos, etc designed on the surface of the paper sack packaging are made into flexographic plates in proportion, and different plates are made according to the colors and pasted on the corresponding positions of the plate roller. During the operation of the machine, the flexographic plate prints inks of different colors onto the surface of the base paper to form patterns.

2.Made into tube

When printing is complete, the industrial bag is still a roll of paper. We need to make the tube shape according to the configuration of the sack. Some paper sack require two layers of paper, some require three layers of paper, and some require a layer of PE in the middle to prevent moisture. When the preparation work is completed, you only need to turn on the machine, and the fully automated equipment will make the papers into tubes one by one. This is the main body of the paper sacks.

3.Pasted the bottom

Next comes the last step of making the paper sack, pasted the bottom. In this process, different bag types have different bottoming methods. Open mouth sacks only need to glue the bottom, while valve bags need to glue all the mouth and bottom, and make a valve on one side, while sewing bags need to sew the bottom. Of course, all of this is done on automated production lines, and workers only need to set up the equipment.

4.Drying

After the production of industrial paper bags is completed, the humidity of the paper sacks is high, which is not conducive to the storage of dry items, so they need to be dried. The finished paper sacks are transported to the drying workshop. The workers hung the bags up to dry one by one like clothes until the moisture content of the bags was up to standard.

5.Pallet packing

The dried paper sacks still need to undergo some tests before packaging, such as metal detection, anti-fall test, etc. Once all test data are qualified, the finished product will be packaged on pallets and finally shipped to the client.

The production of industrial multiwall paper bags is not as simple as it seems. There are many details that need to be paid attention to in every production process. Errors in any link will lead to the emergence of defective products.
